Chris grew up fishing the Missouri River near Tyndall, SD, and has spent his life chasing the thrill of a hooked walleye. His passion for guiding began during his time organizing the SD Wildlife Expo, where he auctioned off trips to support veterans. With over a decade of experience fishing Lake Oahe, Chris has developed a deep love for the river system and a particular knack for plug pulling—a technique he approaches like a game of chess. Now running Angry Walleye Guide Service, Chris offers trips in his new Thunder Jet Alexis Pro 26.5, ensuring comfort and success no matter the weather.

Mark
Mark has been fishing since he was in the womb. Well probably not, but we think he was. Mark has enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors his whole life. Over the years he has taught others his knowledge and skills. While he grew up in Sioux Falls, his second home is Lake Oahe. He is a great asset to Angry Walleye Guide Service. He knows the river system better than anyone. Mark is experienced in Walleye and Salmon fishing. While he is our backup Captain, please reach out to Chris if you wish to book with Mark.

With over 20 years of experience on the Missouri River and 17 years as a fishing guide, Shane brings unmatched knowledge and skill to every trip.
